Update 15.04.2024

Good Afternoon Everyone, Sam Ashford has got in contact and would love for all parents and carers to come and watch the lovely drama piece the children created last half term. It is all based on the book "The Bear and the Piano" - it is recorded so will be watched on a screen. Please feel free to come and watch in the hall at 3pm tomorrow (16.04.2024). Welcome back to Year 2! 

I hope you had a wonderful, refreshing and relaxing Easter holiday! We are now going into Summer Term, which will hopefully afford us some sunshine! We have plenty to look forward to this term and you can find all of our new learning goals on the curriculum page for Year 2! Alongside our learning, we are going to start preparing for our sports day! So lots and lots to look forward to. 

The homework grid has been uploaded under the homework tab, but I will ensure you can see this on SeeSaw too! The homework grid works alongside our usual reading and use of TTRockstars! 

Please remember that I am reachable through the Year 2 email, year2@fawbert-barnards.essex.sch.uk. However, if it is urgent please send a message in person or through the office as emails have a response turnaround of 48hours. 

I look forward to spending another wonderful term with your children. I cannot believe we are already in this last term and soon we will have to wave them off to Year 3!
