We celebrated World Book day with staff and children dressing up as their favourite characters.
Year 3 went to Harlow Museum to find out about Roman life in Harlow.
Year 4 experienced life as an Egyptian today to enhance their current topic. We were very lucky to have a member from History Off the Page visit us to provide this workshop.

It's beginning to look like Christmas around the school.
We would like to thank all the parents and pupils who supported us on Saturday 13 November 2021 to work on the front of our school.
On Tuesday we had a Harvest festival. We brought food for the Food Bank. We also dressed up as vegetables. I dressed up as a cucumber and we sang a song called “We are the singing vegetables”. We did it on Zoom. All the classes did songs and poems. Reception did the Scarecrow song and dance. Year 6 and 4 did poems, Years 2, 3 and 1 did songs. Year 1 did a rainbow out of vegetables. The School Council talked about the harvest around the world. In the past everyone did harvest at the same time. I made a hat and made a cucumber out of card and painted them.” Billy B-D
Thank you to all those who contributed to our Macmillan Coffee Morning held on Friday 24 September 2021. We raised a fantastic £200 overall which exceeded our expectations.
Over the past two weeks we have welcomed Year 1 parents to experience our school lunches.
Today our Year 6 pupils attended interviews for roles of responsibility that they were interested in.
On Monday we held a celebration day and the children were in for a big surprise that was kindly funded by our Fawbert & Barnard's Trustees.
Following on from our Big Pedal win, we are pleased to inform you that we were also shortlisted for "Setting of the Year" in the International Montessori Awards, where we came overall second place.
